Export Sales Team Leader: International Market Plywood

Team size: 2–3 members

Join FOMEX GLOBAL and take the lead in driving our international plywood export business. This role is perfect for professionals ready to manage a sales team and expand B2B markets worldwide.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and manage a small sales team (2–3 members) in approaching and servicing international customers.
  • Implement sales, marketing, and export business plans according to company strategy.
  • Directly participate in sales: negotiating, maintaining, and developing customer relationships while acquiring new clients.
  • Monitor contract execution, coordinate with supply and documentation teams to ensure smooth delivery, payment, and issue resolution.
  • Coach and mentor sales team members to improve sales skills and customer service.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports on business performance, customer updates, and market trends to the Head of Sales.
  • Propose initiatives to improve sales efficiency and customer experience.

Requirements

  • College degree or higher (Foreign Trade, Economics, International Business, Commerce, or Foreign Languages preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in international sales/foreign trade, with team management or mentoring experience preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of Incoterms, international payments, and export contracts.
  • Strong English skills in all four aspects (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a small team, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, responsible, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
